100 details for 100 days Day 71

Day 71
This seam embellishment starts off with a row of Herringbone worked in a thread the same weight as DMC pearl 5.

The next row of Chevron stitch is worked over the herringbone in thread of the same weight. The chevron is spaced so that the bars are between the herringbone.

A cluster of three detached chain stitches in lighter weight thread is then worked on top of the bars of the Chevron. At the base of these stitches are some seed beads.

This morning on my usual round up I was getting quite a few server error message from blogger blogs. I simply could not get to them or see the images in my blogline account. Most frustrating way to start the day! I hope I have read and linked to all those people who have worked on their details in the last 24 hours or so. If not I am sorry. But here goes with the list of people I was able to read …

Allison Aller has cut out some velvet shapes, sealed the edges with heat and attached them to her latest seam embellishment.

Susan of Crazy Quilting for fun has interpreted the seam embellishment from day 58 on a heart

Annie Whitsed of Annies Crazy World has some more details from her red dress.

Debbie of Needle Lil More Time to Sew has solved a mismatched seam problem creatively

Pam Kellogg of Kitty & Me Designs has published the last of her fractal designs which can be printed on fabric.

For anyone who has been following this series you may be interested in the online classes I announced last week.

If you are just swinging by or if a search engine has landed you on this page, this series of posts are listed under 100 details for 100 days in this blog. Over on Flickr it is associated with the Crazyquilting Group and photos are tagged 100detailsin100days
