Free pattern

Usually when I encounter a free pattern for embroidery surfing, it is most often a cross stich design however I was poking about the Evening stars designs site and found a Free pattern using basic surface embroidery stitches. This little bag is ideal for beginners or it could be used as children's project. The file comes in a PDF format and versions for left and right handers are provided.

This pattern would make an ideal small gift or change the colour and use the patttern to make a Christmas gift bag.

While you are on the site check out the crazy quilt blocks in the gallery

Oh, Sharon!! I just posted a request for help to figure out some kind of project suitable for a children's embroidery class for this summer. This could be a great idea! I must thank you for finding and posting it... and also the designer for taking all the trouble - it's really a great little instructions booklet.

Thanks heaps!
