Laura Cooperman

The work of cut paper and assemblage artist Laura Cooperman has me fascinated. It is cut, layered and overlapped to form 3 dimensional architectural designs that are extremely beautiful.

Sharon, I'm in absolute awe. I wasn't surprised to read in her bio that her father was an architect, her work is so structurally detailed. Reminds me of Victorian silhouette cutting, but taken to the nth degree. She mentioned Australia in her bio too, I'd love to see an exhibition of her work in the flesh if she comes here. Thanks for yet another interesting link, made my day!
