Time for the letter T

I am sure people have been expecting this as I am attempting to complete the Alphabet by the end of the year. So stop rushing around make a cuppa and take some time out to relax .

Here are the list of blogs so far A , BC , D , EFGHIJKM,  N,   O,  P,   Q,  R  and S

The last section of the alphabet I will publish before the end of the year. In other words the letters U, V, W, X, Y, Z will appear soon and as a single post because there are not too many blogs in each letter. I hope it will make enjoyable holiday browsing.

Then I will have to decide if I should start again, next year at the letter A and repeat the process , updating and adding blogs removing those that are no longer active as I go. I think its better to publish in sections rather than one long list. I know if I encounter a list too long I never look at every link. Separate lists gives everyone a chance to browse and be browsed, as there is never one great slab of links that just puts people off looking at them all.  I will be canvassing opinions on that idea. Of course people can leave their blog address in the comments if they choose and I will check it out.

I choose blogs that are on topic and written reasonably frequently, by textile practitioners and designers who do such things as quilt, stitch, dye, sew, embellish fabric, bead, use visual journals, or are interested in art and design. I also try and stick to blogs that are on topic at least 80% of the time. So I read back 10 posts if more than 2 posts are on something other than textiles/art I don’t include them. Blogs that are obviously written as marketing blogs or blogs that simply constantly review products and services with the express aim of selling goods I have excluded.

I am thrilled to be mentioned on your blog Sharon. I personally find your lists really useful to browse sites. I am amazed that you have time to do it along with all the other sites that you direct us to. Don't you ever sleep?! Have a good Christmas. Maggi

My craft blog -- Wren and Stitchy -- is newish, and I focus mostly on the things I embroider, but also chat about cooking from time to time. The embroidery I'm working on right now can't be shown on my blog until after Christmas since it's a gift for someone who does read my blog, so my recent posts have been less about embroidery than they normally would be. Anyhoo, please give it a looksee and if it fits your criteria, then I'd love to be included in your "W" list.

I appreciate you posting the lists of blogs. I only very recently discovered your blog but have poked around the archives a bit and look forward to perusing the blogs-by-alpha lists that you've taken the time to comprise.
