Around the blogs

I actually have had little time to browse the blogs but in the few quiet moments I have had I have caught a few gems.

First Jeffery Rudell has asked some thought provoking questions which are well worth reading in DIY: A Manifesto (of Sorts) in Four Parts

BibliOdyssey has two gems. Le Livre d'Heures d'Isabeau de Roubaix is a beautiful illuminated manuscript.

Monograph of Spiders will interest crazy quilters because since Victorian times it has been a tradition to include a spider in a crazy quilt for good luck. These illustrations will certainly inspire some new designs as some of the spiders are really beautiful.

Since it is that time of the year when people are getting organised Tipnut has done a round up of Free Printable 2009 Calendars

Elizabeth over on Quieter Moments has been playing with the Alphabet again and found a delightful stitch. My question is has anyone seen it before?
