Introducing block 15 on the "I dropped the button box" quilt

This morning I will be introducing block 15, on this grid, of the “I dropped the button box” quilt.
As you can see there are 6 pieces of fabric in it.
Fabric content:
Piece 1: Silk from an after 5 dress.
Piece 2: Cotton. This was sent to me in one of the first internet swaps I ever participated in
Piece 3: Velvet
Piece 4: Underneath all that stuff is a synthetic after five fabric
Piece 5: A synthetic soft furnishing fabric
Piece 6: Satin

Item Count:
As I have explained before this quilt is a Y2K quilt which is made up of 2001 different elements. My definition of an element was either a different fabric, lace, braid, charm, buttons or ribbon. This count is an ongoing count of items and pieces in the quilt blocks documented so far.
Fabric: 6
Lace, braid and ribbon: 4
Buttons: 7
Charms: 1
Total items on this block: 18
Total tally of items on Quilt so far 295
If you have just landed on this page via search engine this is a crazy quilt block which is part of my “I dropped the Button box” quilt. I am documenting this crazy quilt detail by detail, and posting about it on this blog every second day. You will find information about this series of articles and the quilt here.
