For the Love of Stitching Sampler - Band 152 Section 10

Band 152 is also section 10. It is a little sampler that is a section in its own right. This area was an experiment with plastic shirt buttons as I was interested in creating patterns with them. These are mens shirt buttons arranged to shade. I have some more of this type of thing here
People always respond to this little area with surprise. Its fun to watch their faces as the sampler unrolls and they encounter these mens shirt buttons!

Fabric:

This section of my sampler is worked on dress linen.

Size:

All samples are 15 cm (6 inches) wide and stitched together in one long band sampler.

The sampler is currently 44 ft 5 inches or 533 inches (1353.83 centimetres) or 14.8 yards  (13.53 metres) long and still being added to.

Date:

I worked this section in 2005.

The back story:

This post is part of series documenting a hand embroidered band sampler, which now measures over 44 feet long and is still growing as I still stitch it. That is not a typo, if you want to know more about the sampler related posts are listed below and the series are categorised under For the Love of Stitching band sampler
