This seam is embellished with a line of feathered up and down buttonhole stitch which has had a bullion knot worked in the middle

A hand dyed high sheen silk
Placement on block:
On block 17 this seam sits between piece 1 and piece 2
Dyes:
Procion cold water dyes for the silk thread
