CQ Detail 128

The Detail: 

This is seam was first covered with a cheap nylon lace which had been hand dyed with disperse dyes. Next I added some plastic beads. In thread which was lamp shade fringing that I pulled apart and dyed with disperse dyes I worked a detached chain stitch with two straight stitches either side.

Placement on block:

On block 19 this lace runs along the edge of piece 5
