Two articles which I think readers will enjoy have been bought to my attention. They both feature in the quilt section of The Collectors weekly and are interviews with with Merikay Waldvogel

The History of American Quiltmaking gives a brief overview of the tradition and
Collecting American Quilts discusses what to look for when buying quilts. There is a even a quick mention of crazy quilting!

I am sure readers will enjoy browsing this site so make a cuppa and over your morning coffee take some time out to learn a little on the history of quilting
