CQ Detail 10

This detail is a cluster of buttons. The pale blue one is a vintage button I received in a swap the others are all modern buttons

Placement and Foundation Fabric:

This feature mainly sits on piece 2 and just nudges into piece 6. The fabric and diagram used have been discussed when I introduced block 2.

The back story

This is a block from the “I dropped the Button box” quilt which I am documenting detail by detail, on this blog, every second day. You will find information about this series here  and the series is under the category of Crazy Quilt  details.

Classes

I also offer a class which covers not only technique but design issues associated with this style of quilting. Encrusted Crazy Quilting will start on Feb 25th 2009.

If you have not taken a class online before  this is How classes work
