Doe c Doe has published some cute free vintage embroidery designs one of which is a floral spray in the shape of heart. I am sure with valentines day coming up it will popular but it will also hit the mark with crazy quilters.

Another tutorial for Drawn Thread Embroidery: Another Way to Secure the Edge and has continued work on her Whitework sampler
For those interested in Canvas work, Barbara Bergsten of Create Needlepoint has published directions on how to do Scotch stitch as part of her Needlepoint stitches series
Summer Louise has also been exploring Scotch Stitch in her a stitch a week series
