It’s time for the letter B

That is right it’s Friday and time for the letter B. Last year I regularly produced annotated lists of blogs that I thought readers might enjoy. These lists were arranged in alphabetical order. This year I plan to  repeat the process, updating the list adding blogs and removing those that are no longer active or have changed direction.

So far I have updated the letter A and now its time for the letter B.

As I did last year I choose blogs that are on topic and written reasonably frequently, by textile practitioners and designers who do such things as quilt, stitch, dye, sew, embellish fabric, bead, use visual journals, or people who are interested in art and design. I also try and stick to blogs that are on topic at least 80% of the time.

Blogs that are obviously written as marketing blogs or blogs that simply constantly review products and services with the express aim of selling goods I have excluded.

If you have a blog that you would like me to check out please leave your blog address as a comment and I will check it out.

Meanwhile make a cuppa and enjoy! I figure this list will keep everyone busy for weekend browsing.

This is a fairly new one - and one of the best of the needlepoint blogs. Clear and simple to understand, and her information and design are outstanding.

I wouldn't mind if you checked out my blog. I write about stitching, knitting, and some other things (I'm thinking about writing about my journal, but since I don't know that my visual journal is all that exciting to anyone but me, I haven't really decided yet. I wasn't very regular, but I'm working on posting on a more regular basis. And if you're not interested, that's cool, too. Either way, I love your blog!

Sharon - thank you for the link! I love how you describe my work ... "explores contemporary fiber techniques" ... aptly said for what I'm doing.

I'm enjoying poring through your many links...
