Stitches:
This seam is embellished with a line of threaded stepped running stitch which has been further decorated with a combination of detached chain stitches and straight stitch
Thread:
This has a foundation of perle thread #8 which has been threaded with a 4 ply knitting yarn. The detched chin stitches are worked in DMC cotton stranded floss
Placement and Foundation Fabric:
This seam is between piece 1 and piece 2 in the middle of the block. The diagram is in the article I wrote when I introduced block 7 In the same article I also talked about the foundation fabrics I used.
