Sad News

I am putting this blog on hold for a little while as last night Mum died. It was not unexpected as Mum had been very ill for 5 years and bed ridden for 2. Unlike many, however she retained her wits and sense of humour to the end.
I will return to blogging after the funeral and when things settle. Give me a week or two and things will return to normal.
Classes will go on and I will be in the forums to answer questions with the exception of the day of the funeral.
I will be quiet on Stitching Fingers too, approving new members but that is about it.
For those doing the stitch explorer challenge June is a catch up month. So if you are behind this is the time to fix that.

It's GENERALLY very difficult to left comments on an "english speaking blog" as far as i'm french speaking. It's always very difficult to share with someone when one of our relatives has gone ... so I'll only say that I stand by you during those sad days.
Sharon

My heart hurts so for you! I am so sorry for your loss. My dad passed away in 1995 of lung cancer, it came on quick...but the end was very sorrowful to watch. I believe he was ready to go...but we are never ready to lose them. Please be comforted in your memories and by your friend's love. Kathy

So sorry to hear of your sad loss, condolences to you and your family
I am so sorry and I do know the feeling of lose that comes from losing your Mother. I cared for mine and she was such a joy and it was such a rewarding experience right up to the end. She had, as did your Mum, a wonderful sence of humor and made the caregiving so much easier.
I want to leave you with this thought.
(Death leave a heartache that nothing can heal,
but LOVE leaves a memory that no one can steal.)
My heart goes out to you and your family. God be with you and your dear Mum.
Jan
