Waving

It’s a month since Mum died and thought I had better get up off my backside and get active on this again otherwise see it languish. Thank you for the messages and sympathy.

I am back blogging. I may be a bit up and down still but at least the CQ details and band sampler will be appearing daily again. Also I will announce the challenge on the 15th as per usual. I will also work on my alphabetical list of blogs of interest which I know many people will enjoy.

So spread the news, blog, tweet and chat as activity on this blog has resumed. Many people have stopped visiting so I could do with some help getting the word out.

I will also answer messages and emails in the next week or so. To be honest I dread this task as there are so many but everyone in the family appreciated them and I want to let people know that.

Welcome back, Sharon. You've been missed in the blogosphere. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Glad you're back. I checked every couple of days after the first week or so. I'm sure others did, too.

We moved while you were gone (hopefully for the last time in a good long time). After most of the sewing room was packed up and we were waiting for our house to close, I sewed a few tomato and strawberry pin cushions, just to pass the time. But once we started moving, I haven't had a spare minute. My sewing/craft room is beginning to come together, so hopefully I'll be ready to work on the next stitch challenge.

Welcome back Sharon - I did so miss you with my morning cuppa... Life will return to normal - it takes time to adjust to the loss of a loved one and a world without them in it... My sister and I have just put our Dad into aged care - he is 97 - still fairly fit and active but he was at a point where he just needed that little extra attention that neither my sister or I could provide full time. As much as the facility is beautiful and the people seem kindly it is a change in the rhythmn of life for all of us... So in a different way I can appreciate what you must be feeling... Just remember - you have all of us out here in blogsphere who will keep on hassling you... G - Patra's Place often dream about kidnapping you for a weekend in Melbourne just so we can have you all to ourselves - with our crazy blocks and embroidery in hand of course :)Take care - much love and hugs xxxx

Welcome back Sharon, we have missed you. I expect a great many people have you in their RSS feed so do not have to keep visiting to see if you were ready to post again.

You must have countless comments and emails, speaking for myself a personal reply is not necessary, I'm sure you have plenty to do already :-)

Just waving back, pleased to see that you are feeling up to posting. Don't be too hard on yourself - you're still going to need a lot of 'me' time. Take care.

So very glad to see you back Sharon, and don't worry, I don't think it will take any time at all for everyone to flock back. Just take things steadily, take care and don't push yourself, we will all still be here waiting.

Big hug

Sharon, it is wonderful to have you back. I've missed the sampler, crazy quilt blocks and blog links. You do so much to keep everyone enthused. The little seahorse is lovely. Thank you.
Take care

It's so wonderful to have you back again. I've missed your posts - they provide me with such inspiration! I don't think you need to worry about all your followers coming back. We've all just been waiting for when you felt up to blogging again. Just take one day at a time and don't push yourself too hard.

Take care,
Celeste

Do you know how much you've been missed? Well, I can say that for my part, everyday I looked to see if you were back and was so happy to read your smiling voice again. I know how difficult these times are but just knowing how much you are loved and missed by all should give you some comfort.
When you do what you love, you can pull back the bed sheets every morning feeling excited about beginning anther day, and you'll be filled with a heartfelt joy that is highly contagious.
Hugs to you
Jan
