Time for the letter E
I have another of my annotated lists of interesting blogs.
So far I have updated the letter A , B, C, D and now its time for the letter E.
As I have said before I choose blogs that stay on topic at least 80% of the time, written reasonably frequently, by textile practitioners and designers who do such things as quilt, stitch, dye, sew, embellish fabric,and bead. Or written by people who are interested in art and design or paper related crafts, such as bookbinding, altered books or use visual journals.
On another note
Jerry and I are taking a much needed mini break long weekend in Sydney. If I have time I will blog from there, otherwise my band sampler and CQ details series will run as per usual.
Earthtone Studios Sue is a mixed media artist working with collage, assemblage, altered books and various paper arts.

El Blog de Gabi Campanario Gabi is an illustrator and she blogs page spreads from her fantastic sketchbooks
El Cielo Studio Journal Susie Monday describes her blog as being about “stitching and dyeing and printing of the craft of art cloth and art quilt”
Elfie and Me is a contemporary craft blog
Elizabeth Creates Elizabeth’s interests cover mixed media and altered arts, crafts, beading, sewing and creating art dolls.
Ellis Nadler’s Sketchbook is an artist, illustrator, author and photographer who blogs work in progress, sketchbook page spreads.
Elsa Mora does paper cutting, and craft work. Some of her pieces are really lovely don’t miss her work.
Elsewhere covers creating artist books and illustration.
Embloggery is a diary kept in stitches ie each diary entry is stitched. Nicole Wolfersberger is posts an image of the embroidery regularly and when you mouse over the images you will discover links hidden within the text
Embroidered Collage Beth Robinson documents her experiments in technique, the design process, her visual journal, samples and her interest in contemporary textile work.
Embroidered Prayers of Peeling a Pomegranate Ketzirah writes about her work in progress and her philosophy
Embroideress is the blog of Linn Skinner who researches historical embroidery and designs samplers. Her blog is really worth looking at as she turns up all sorts of interesteing textile related items.
Embroidery and design work is a blog kept during the City and Guilds course in Embroidery
Embroidery Freebies covers projects made with free graphics found on the net
Embroidery Overlaps Barbara works with contemporary texilte techniques and embroidery to produce fabric postcards, journal quilts, and various other projects.
Emma Kirsopp is an Australian artist who holds a bachelors degree in Art and a Masters degree in contemporary art (visual art) Her blog contains images of her drawings and works in progress.
Empty Easel houses articles on art, painting tips and advice for artists on how to market their work online
Enchanted Art Elizabeth is a fiber and mixed media artist who says she enjoys “traditional patchwork quilting as well as incorporating other materials such as paint, beads, wire, and more”
English Cut - Savile Row Tailor I find this a fascinating blog as Thomas Mahon is a hand tailor in Savile Row. His about page lists clients such as Prince Charles, Chief Ralph Lauren Designer John Vizzone and Bryan Ferry but this list although impressive is not the reason I return to this blog. I am constantly impressed with the various tid-bits about tailoring that are slid into the posts.
Ephemeral Alchemy Kelli dyes, stitches, collages, makes books and creates bright, dramatic and colourful assemblage pieces
Erica B’s D.Y.I Style is the blog of Erica Bunker who is an avid fashion conscious sewer. Erica writes about patterns she uses and garments she makes.
Exhibit Files blog Exhibit files describes itself as “an online community of people who make exhibits-a place to connect with colleagues, find out about exhibits, and share your own experiences.”
Explorations of Color Bonniemf shares page spreads from her visual journal, and images that inspire her.
Exploring Color and Creativity Nita paints and teaches watercolour and blogs about this topic as well as art and creativity.
Expression Studio Gail is a photographer who is also interested in mixed media and fiber
Extraordinary pencil is a blog that features some extraordinary drawing skills from the hand of Marsha Robinett don’t miss checking it out as this blog is a gem!

Thank you Sharon for the recent nice comment on my blog. It's kind of you to do that, especially as you have a lot to deal with at the moment.
I've been trying to do the Stitch Explorer challenge but have found it hard to keep up and to post stuff - I need to be more organised. I apologise for that, and will make more effort to participate properly. I really do value your generous sharing and have learned a lot of what I find fulfillng in embroidery from your blog, challenges and dictionary.
