Lion Brand have announced all the Lion Brand patterns are now free all 2,700 of them. To access the patterns you must become a member .

Knitters will love this site but if you crochet don’t dismiss it as there is huge selection of interesting and modern patterns to choose from including freeform crochet.

The Lion Brand site is really worth browsing as not only are the patterns free but Lion brand has also put together an on-line encyclopedia of knitting and crochet facts, abbreviations and instructions.

So grab a cuppa and browse a little …

Thanks for the heads up on this! Many of Lion Brand's yarns and patterns are a bit less than "artsy" but they do have some real gems hidden away.
