Love both the stitch and the thread. I have to get some rayon threads into my stash, they have such a lovely sheen.

Sharon,
I'm signed up for your Encrusted Crazy Quilt class at Joggles. I have a question. I saw several beautiful vintage beaded dresses at my local Thrift Shop at very reasonable prices. I thought I could use them to cut out pieces to sew onto a crazy quilt block. Have you ever done this, and was it successful? What do you suggest????
Thank you,
Caroline

Caroline yes you can recycle vintage beaded motifs you simply incorporate them in your block when you piece it. My Encrusted Crazy class is still taking students as it is running again and starts on the 24th of this month. The information and links are found at the bottom of this post and in my sidebar.
