It is Tuesday so I am introducing the TAST 2 challengers!

Tast 2 is just around the corner as it starts on Tuesday March 2nd. With the date fast approaching I felt it was time to introduce the folks who are participating.
There are some great stitchers in this group so you might want to make a cuppa, settle down, and browse their sites, even if you are not going to join in on TAST 2!
If for some reason I have missed you out please leave a comment (on this post) and I will add you to the list.
Please remember to leave your blog address as many people forget! Obviously I can’t list your web address if you do not tell me what it is.
Some people don’t yet have flickr accounts or blog so obviously they are as yet not listed. If you are one of those folks as soon as you have a web address leave a comment here and I will add you.
Also if you have a photo site that is marked private you need to make it public otherwise people cannot see it!

Here are the details about TAST 2 in case you missed them first time around.
The Challenge:
TAST stands for Take a Stitch Tuesday. Each week on Tuesday I will take a stitch and suggest people experiment with it, push it a little and see what possibilities the stitch holds. There will be a new stitch every week until the end of the year. These stitches are all surface embroidery stitches.
If working a challenge stitch every week sounds too much. It is OK. Last time some people simply worked the stitches that interested them. From my point of view I am happy to see people stitching and sharing what they learn.
If you are busy and want to swing in and out of the challenge as life dictates that is fine. I can't make it more guilt free than that. That said those that worked all the stitches in the last TAST have said to me that learnt a lot! Even stitches that did not initially appeal to them, they learnt from, discovered a way of working and sometimes were surprised to find they enjoyed them.
How to join in:
To sign on leave a comment here with your name, and blog or flickr account.
If you don’t yet have a site to post images to you will need to set up one. You will need at least a flickr account or somewhere to have your images on the web. If you don’t have one go to http://flickr.com and join. It is free and not difficult to use. The point is the share what you do so other stitchers can see what you have done.
With TAST 2 I will encourage people to send photos to the flickr TAST site
The way it will work is when you have experimented with stitch you come back here, and leave a comment to say where you can see what you have done.
The start date:
Tuesday March 2nd
Skill level:
All skill levels are welcome but I will be working under the assumption that people know at least the basic stitches. Those that did not do TAST 1 check out the pdf file I released 12 Surface Stitches for Beginners and the first series of TAST stitches. To get an idea how people explore stitches see the stitchin fingers group and the flickr TAST site

Hi, Sharon....I would love to join in with your TAST 2. group. Sounds like fun and I need a committment. I'm afraid I'm a little computer challenged and my adult daughter hasn't been able to get back down to finish getting me set up and transfer from my old one. I am keen to join TAST 2. I will be dropping in and out - thanks for allowing that - as my job has become insecure and I may have to move. I have also experienced a bit of a health hiccup and need surgery eventually! An interesting and challenging year all round I think! Looking forward to stitching...
