CQ Detail 156

The detail:

This hand dyed piece of lace runs across piece 5 on block 24 of the "I dropped the button box" quilt. I lace silk ribbon through it and with the same silk ribbon worked some loose French knots. In the middle of each french knot I added a seed bead.  I also added small novelty beads along the middle of the lace which are also held in place with a seed bead.

I love what you've done with that! I've run ribbon into lace along the top edge, but it never occured to me to run it through the bottom like that!
