Introducing block 27 on the "I dropped the button box" quilt
I am so pleased to be introducing block 27 because by the end I think block 26 was making me wince a little too much. As I said when I introduced block 26 I used many fabrics not often used in crazy quilting. Me and my “you can use anything you like” philosophy nearly got me into trouble with that one!
Block 27 is still a little brash but much better than its neighbour.

Piece 2: Velvet
Piece 3: Chinese Silk Brocade
Piece 4: Cotton
Piece 5: Cotton
Piece 6: Silk
Piece 7: Synthetic after five dress fabric
Piece 8: Cotton covered with lace

This quilt is a Y2K quilt which is made up of 2001 different elements. By element I mean either a different fabric, lace, braid, charm, buttons or ribbon. This count is an ongoing count of items and pieces in the quilt blocks documented so far.
