Introducing block 28 on the "I dropped the button box" quilt

It is time to introduce block 28. This block is always difficult to photograph as it is highly textured but I hope you will enjoy it. 

Fabric content:

Piece 1: Cotton 

Piece 2: Cotton

Piece 3: Metallic after five fabric  

Piece 4: Cotton covered with lace

Piece 5: Silk  

Piece 6: Silk

Piece 7: Synthetic flocked fabric

Piece 8: Synthetic 

Item Count: 

This quilt is a Y2K quilt which is made up of 2001 different elements. By element I mean either a different fabric, lace, braid, charm, buttons or ribbon. This count is an ongoing count of items and pieces in the quilt blocks documented so far.

Fabric: 8

Lace, braid and ribbon: 4

Charms: 2

Total items on this block: 14

Total tally of items on the quilt so far 550
