Introducing block 31 of the I Dropped the Button Box crazy quilt
We are now at block 31! I have always liked this block as it is so overladen with vintage buttons. There are 11 of them but they sit OK. It is also one of the few blocks that has a plain seam. Can you see it? Between piece 1 and piece 2 is a seam which I did not embroider but no one ever finds it. I left it because it felt like the block had enough on it. I have always enjoyed this block and I hope you will enjoy the details coming up too!

Just as a reminder here is the quilt. When I started the series about each detail on the “I dropped the button box” quilt, I numbered the blocks on this grid.
